Nicaraguan children are undergoing what may very well be their most terrifying experience in their lifetime. They make up almost 50% of the victims of the hurricane

Almost ten days of terror, pain and sorrow as the facey death and lost. They are amongst the most afflicted ones. And as organisations working with children have stated, they do not understand what is happening to them and their parents or tutors are too shocked to explain.

This boy lost his whole family. He was rescued from a tree which he climbed saving himself from the flood of mud in Posoltega.

This child is been housed in a refugee center where hunger and diseases are every day´s reality.
